Immediate opening: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Mariposa County, California. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Your main tasks: • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases 5+ years on the tools preferred.
