Gtaw welder • Gila County, Arizona

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Gila County, Arizona. Day to day you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
