GMAW welder wanted in Kiowa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Kiowa County, Oklahoma. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 6+ years on the tools preferred.
