Now hiring: we are hiring a window glazier in Lee County, Alabama. The job is in a mirror and glass showroom. Requirements: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Your main tasks: • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders 2+ years on the tools preferred.
