Aluminium tig welder • Orolu, Osun State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Orolu, Osun State. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
