Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Jos South, Plateau State. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. The role involves: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Part-time with flexible hours. ₦135,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
