Glass fitter wanted in Edgecombe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass fitter in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. The job is at a glass and aluminium factory. Day to day you will glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; measure window and door openings and order glass to size. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
