Great opportunity: horizontal milling machine operator (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Sonoma County, California. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production.
