Now hiring: we are hiring a lorry driver in Marion County, Arkansas. The role involves secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing $5,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
