RCC mason • Aroostook County, Maine

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a RCC mason in Aroostook County, Maine. The role involves compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
