Now hiring: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy roofing firm. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Willing to work outdoors in all weather On a typical shift you will solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses.
