Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Mariposa County, California. Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Day to day you will season and marinate meat on request; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
