Fabricator-welder wanted in Moray

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Moray, Scotland. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper.
