Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS).
