Earthmoving equipment operator — Schoharie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Schoharie County, New York. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. On a typical shift you will keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
