Immediate opening: we are hiring a dough maker in Carroll County, Iowa. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
