Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Fluvanna County, Virginia. You will be based on the press shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Rotating shifts.
