Aluminium tig welder — Cullman County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Cullman County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
