Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Mills County, Texas. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Your main tasks: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure 1+ years on the tools preferred.
