Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium and glass installer in Rooks County, Kansas. You will work in a shopfront glazing company. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand On a typical shift you will read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; replace cracked or broken window panes. 5+ years on the tools preferred. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
