Gas installation technician • Allegheny County, Pennsylvania

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. You will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
