Tile mason wanted in Calhoun County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile mason in Calhoun County, Illinois. You will be based on a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge Requirements: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Full-time, day shift.
