Fabricator-welder wanted in Hampton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Hampton County, South Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
