Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Hampshire County, West Virginia. The job is at a haulage company. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Day to day you will keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
