Now hiring: ladle pourer (Minnesota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Scott County, Minnesota. You will be based on the moulding line. The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
