We are recruiting: we are hiring a laundry presser in Effingham County, Georgia. The role involves operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
