Commercial tyre fitter — Contra Costa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Contra Costa County, California. Day to day you will repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly. Requirements: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
