Tig welder — Little River County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Little River County, Arkansas. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
