Join our team: fabricator-welder (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Gratiot County, Michigan. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
