Road roller operator • Stutsman County, North Dakota

Great opportunity: we are hiring a road roller operator in Stutsman County, North Dakota. You will work at a landfill site. Day-to-day duties: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
