Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Baker County, Georgia. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
