Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 6+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
