Concrete worker wanted in Pike County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in Pike County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours The role involves: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
