Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre technician in Valley County, Montana. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Requirements: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets The role involves check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
