The role involves: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays Ideal candidate: • Valid digital tachograph card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
