Lift technician • Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift technician in Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State. Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Rotating shifts.
