Gas pipeline fitter — Penobscot County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Penobscot County, Maine. The role involves connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
