We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Comanche County, Kansas. Day to day you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Rotating shifts.
