Tig welder wanted in Jones County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Jones County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
