Automobile electrical mechanic wanted in Polk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automobile electrical mechanic in Polk County, Texas. You will work at a commercial vehicle fleet depot. Day-to-day duties: • Read wiring diagrams and trace circuits • Repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms • Check charging system output and battery voltage • Trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults • Test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner Requirements: • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
