You will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; season and marinate meat on request. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
