Tower crane operator wanted in Brunswick County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Brunswick County, Virginia. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
