Immediate opening: plant operator (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Jefferson County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
