Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Wayne County, Iowa. The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
