Garment presser — Ikot Abasi

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State. The job is in a busy laundry. You will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
