You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position.
