Long-haul driver — Umatilla County

Now hiring: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Umatilla County, Oregon. The job is at a container freight yard. Day-to-day duties: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Requirements: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Current Driver CPC qualification card Full-time with occasional weekends.
