Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Mercer County, West Virginia. On a typical shift you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; record output and downtime on the production sheet; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
