We are recruiting: we are hiring a dough maker in Houston County, Texas. The job is at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen The role involves: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
