Brickwork mason • Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. On a typical shift you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
